Gabrielle Ahad

San Diego State University

Gabrielle is a junior Mechanical Engineering major with an emphasis in Bioengineering.  She is the Treasurer of the QL+ Student Chapter at SDSU and has been involved in projects such as the Surfboard Wheelchair Project, which helps transport a young girl with cerebral palsy to a surfboard, and the Adaptive Fishing Pole Project, which assists a veteran with double arm prosthesis go
fishing.  Her primary areas of interest include prosthetics, minimally invasive, and diagnostic medical devices.  She has gained experience and technical knowledge through manufacturing and quality assurance internships in biotech companies. Gabrielle has always had a passion for being of
service to others and aspires to use her experience and education to aid her community
