Ranger Road is a nonprofit organization that has several programs to involve injured veterans in recreation sports. Veterans participating in the Motor Sports Program receive professional instruction on racing. Because of some of the physical requirements involved with this sport, some veterans have difficulty getting into the race cars. The transfer into the vehicle can be labor-intensive or just logistically difficult, especially due to some of the modifications of the race cars.
