Our Challenger is U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Stephen Valyou. He was an Explosive Ordinance Disposal technician. He was paralyzed by a sniper's bullet in Iraq in 2007.  He is very independent and enjoys a large variety of activities and sports such as bobsledding with the USA Para Bobsled organization.

He would like a way to prevent pressure sores when he transfers from his wheelchair to hard surfaces. The challenge is to design and make adapted pants to protect his skin/soft tissue and prevent pressure sores.
