GMU: WALK TO RUN PROSTHETIC (V2)

Our Innovative and Life-Changing Solutions

A retired Army Scout lost both of his lower legs from an explosion.  He would like to have the capability to go from walking to jogging, such as when he is walking with his daughter and she starts running.  The Challenger is requesting to have both a short distance running capability and walking capability on the same prosthetic without having to change out his legs.

This project was initially started at San Diego State University before moving to George Mason University.
