Final Project Description: The final project is a 3D-printed prosthetic hand that retracts via wires through the finger joints. The wires are pulled on by a linear actuator sitting in a 3D-printed compartment that rests on the forearm of the subject, and is signaled to activate by a crossed muscle tension threshold that is sensed by an EMG (Myoware Muscle Sensor) connected to the upper bicep.
