CATH U: GOLF ADAPTATION DEVICE (STUDENT CHAPTER Y1)

Our Innovative and Life-Changing Solutions

He likes to golf and has tried with a variety of adaptations such as a thermoplastic tube that the golf club fits into, which is rivoted onto his Exos wrist braces at 2 to 3 points and includes a wedge over his right wrist to attempt to gain more stability (see picture).  It works Ok, but there is still too much ”wobble”/motion.  He needs more stability and he also needs to be able to slide his right hand in and out so his hands are not always “hooked together”.  He has also tried a custom-made thumb spica adaptation (see picture), but that is only a rough prototype.

There is a need for a more stable golf assist. Eric already shows signs of being a great golfer.
