MG(R) Anders (Andy) Aadland founded CASTLELINK LLC in 2012 to provide management consulting services to the Federal Government’s industry partners who support the installation management; military construction & engineering; military infrastructure, energy, utilities, and environmental management; emergency response; logistics; and strategic planning fields of endeavor. From 2004 to 2011, General Aadland served as Senior Vice President for Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure (E&I), a subsidiary of The Shaw Group Inc. Prior to joining Shaw, General Aadland served in the U.S. Army for 35 years, culminating his career as the Army’s first Director of the U.S. Army Installation Management Agency. Other key positions include: Commandant, U.S. Army Engineer School; Deputy Chief of Staff-Engineer, U.S. Army Europe, Heidelberg, Germany; Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Engineer School and Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Commander, 2d Armored Division Engineer Brigade, Fort Hood, TX; Commander, 17th Engineer Battalion, 2d Armored Division, Fort Hood, TX; Chief, Engineer Branch, OPMD, U.S. Army Personnel Command; Commander, HHC, 649th Engineer Battalion, Schwetzingen, Germany; and Project Engineer, Norfolk and Baltimore Districts, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. General Aadland holds a master’s degree in Logistics Management and a bachelor’s degree in Art/Architecture. He is a Distinguished Graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He resides in San Antonio, TX with his wife, Sandy; he has three children and seven grandchildren.
