New QL+ Website Launch
News Release – Tuesday September 1, 2009.
The Quality of Life Plus Program (QL+) announces the launch of its new website. QL+ is a nonprofit organization headquartered in McLean, Virginia. In 2009, founder and Chairman, Jon Monett donated the funding to establish the QL+ Laboratory at the School of Engineering at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. Since that time, QL+ has been seeking ways to engineer an improved quality of life for those who have served.
With the new website, our goal is to provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the QL+ Program, the people we serve, and an up-to-date report on the accomplishments of our organization. Of course, the electronic representation found at the website cannot fully capture the experience of walking through the QL+ Laboratory, or of talking with a program amputee who will live, work and play better as a result of the QL+ innovation engine.
The QL+ website features an electronic capture of program challenges. It also offers online visitors an easy way to submit a challenge, or make a donation, or get more information on the QL+ Program. In the coming months, we will continue to introduce new site features and areas. We welcome your feedback. Please tell us what you think of our new website and help us make improvements by sharing your comments with us: info@qlplus.org.
